Orleans Historical Society

The Centers for Culture and History in Orleans, MA

In phase I, Village Green Restoration, Inc. updated systems and made handicap accessibility improvements to the 1834 meeting house. A handicap accessible ramp, lift, kitchenette, and bathroom were seamlessly integrated to the structure. In phase II, the 1950’s Hurd Chapel was moved and re-adapted as a new performance center.

Amherst Doors

Amherst, MA Town Hall

Village Green Restoration restored the entrance way to the turn of the century Richardsonian-Romanesque Hall. The project included extensive repairs to the quarter sawn white oak veneers and upgrading to ADA compliant hardware.

Decorative Ceiling

Wakefield Estate in Milton

Village Green Restoration restored and repaired the historic flat plasterwork at the main residence of the Wakefield Estate in Milton.

Rural Cemetery in New Bedford

Village Green Restoration restored 200 monuments over the course of 3 months in New Bedford’s rural cemetery. We also designed and prepared a monuments and treatments database to catalog treatments.
